This is one fantastic bike ride – and be prepared, we’re doing The Wall the proper way this time, and 50 miles into the ride. I hope you’ve got your climbing bike, it’s 18% of pure torturous fun. I can’t say enough good about this ride – it’s got everything, including a coffee stop at 60 miles. Bring some onboard fuel for this one because unless you add miles on and go all the way into Bellaire, you’ll be out in the middle of nowhere for quite some time. You’ll want to fill your water bottles back up in East Jordan on your way through (16 miles in) because you won’t see much of anything else till you’re back in East Jordan at mile 51. This ride is far too excellent to miss, though. Without a doubt, a favorite of mine.

The climb to the wall, it’s just around the corner…
Once you’re in East Jordan, though, it’s just a hop, skip and a jump back home… and a few rollers. And another climb or two. You’ll have earned your treat when you finally make the coffee shop in Boyne City. Enjoy!
